Notifications
Students, teachers, and parents can opt for email from their courses’ announcements, including extracurricular activities, and Adviser announcements. Notification service:
- messages are sent individually from each course
- sends messages as they are created or when the teacher sets the release time and date
- will subscribe to all courses (cannot select a subset of courses, teams, or activities)
- works best with email; text notifications are not recommended as mobile providers' "text to email" services vary and can be inconsistent
Highly recommended: Advisers, please ensure your students do these steps as this will ensure they get communications from all of their courses. The video below shows how a student subscribes to these notifications (instructions for parents further below).

1. Choose Settings under your profile
2. Then click on Notifications under Account Settings
3. On right side, check off E-mail and Edit Options:
4. Choose ONE if you are Parent/ Guardian or a Student:
If you are a Parent or Guardian (not student): Under My Child's Groups, check off Academics and Advisory | If you are a Student (not a parent or Guardian): Under My Groups check off Academics and Advisory |
5. Click Save
