1. Open Google Calendar

  • Go to your Google Calendar. You can do this by opening a web browser and typing calendar.google.com or by using the Google Calendar app on your mobile device.

2. Create a New Event

  • Click on the desired time slot on the calendar grid where you want to book the room.
  • Alternatively, click the Create button (it looks like a plus sign) on the top left of the calendar interface.

3. Add the Room as a Guest

  • In the event details, locate the "Add guests" or "Add people" field.
  • Start typing the name of the room or resource you want to book (e.g., "Conference Room A").
  • Select the correct room from the suggestions that appear.

4. Check Room Availability

  • Once you've added the room, Google Calendar will automatically check its availability.
  • If the room is already booked during your chosen time, you'll see a warning message.
  • You might need to adjust your meeting time or choose a different room.

5. Complete the Event Details

  • Fill in the remaining event details:
    • Title: Give your meeting a descriptive name.
    • Date and Time: Confirm the date and time of your booking.
    • Description: Add any relevant information about the meeting.
    • Guests: Invite other attendees to your meeting.

6. Save Your Booking

  • Once you've filled in all the necessary details, click the Save or Create event button.

Important Tips:

  • DO NOT BOOK CLASSROOMS unless it is required by academic program
  • For the Theater availability refer to Theatre Norms as it contains equipment and possible setup
  • The Board Room is limited and reserved classes and leadership meetings, check with the Executive Assistant to the Principal, as it is managed by the Main Office.
