How to Install and Access Pear Deck
1. In Google Slides, in the menu bar click Extensions → Add-ons → Get add-ons
2. Search “Pear Deck”. Click on Pear Deck icon and install.
3. To open Pear Deck when in Google Slides, click the Pear Deck icon in the tool bar menu.
You can now use Pear Deck to add interactive questions to slideshow presentations.

How to Start a Lesson and Review Student Responses
1. Once ready to present to your class, click "Start Lesson" and select either "Instructor-Paced" or "Student-Paced".
You will receive a join code to provide to your students to have them join your session, and you will have access to the Teacher Dashboard. From the Teacher Dashboard, you can monitor student progress through your presentation (if student-paced) as well as view student responses to your interactive questions.

How to View Past Pear Decks and Access New Content
1. Login to Pear Deck at https://app.peardeck.com/home. On the left sidebar, select "Session History" to view old Pear Deck presentations. From here, you can reopen passed sessions and/or view the teacher dashboard to review student responses.
2. On the left sidebar you can also access Pear Deck's "Content Orchard". Use this to browse readily available slideshows, such as these Certified Math Lessons.
